The DeKalb County Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture is positioned to GROW – GROW Knowledge, GROW Understanding, and GROW Awareness of Agriculture – by generating funds for worthwhile agricultural initiatives. Tax deductible donations will fund programs important to agriculture and the agricultural industry.
Why give?
The average American is now at least three generations removed from the farm. The Foundation believes there is great value in connecting consumers to their source of food, fiber, and fuel in our communities. By giving to the Foundation, you can make a difference in raising awareness and building understanding of agriculture.
The DeKalb County Farm Bureau Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization which accepts tax deductible donations to fund initiatives important to agriculture. The Foundation accepts charitable contributions of cash, property, farmland, ag commodities, stocks, bonds, and securities as well as legacy gifts such as life insurance and trusts.
Please consider donating to the Foundation through these funds: Cultivating Paths, The Giving Field, Growing Acres, Legacy Gift or a Named Endowment. Through your dedication to agriculture and your support of the Foundation we can ultimately ensure we reach more people of all ages with accurate, positive information about farm and food production.
Cultivating Paths – This fund accepts any level of giving from donors.
The Giving Field – Individuals who make a commitment to donate $200 or more annually for life will get their name engraved on a nameplate to be placed on a donor wall in the Farm Bureau lobby.
Growing Acres – Donate $1,000 – $9,999 and be included on the Foundation’s Donor Wall.
Legacy Gift – Create a legacy by giving a substantial gift to the Foundation of $10,000 – $49,999 and be named on the donor wall.
Named Endowment – Set up a named endowment with a major contribution of $50,000 or more and be listed on the donor wall.
Memorial Fund – Donate any amount in memory of a loved one.
Scholarship Fund – Contribute to an existing scholarship or start a new scholarship.
